Job Description: Supplier Notification of Change (SNC) Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supplier Notification of Change (SNC) Analyst to join our Procurement Center of Excellence. This role will play a dual purpose: ensuring operational excellence in managing supplier notifications while driving strategic initiatives to improve and streamline SNC processes. The ideal candidate will balance day-to-day execution with a forward-looking mindset to enhance efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across the supplier lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

- SNC Management: Oversee the end-to-end process for supplier notifications, ensuring timely and accurate communication, tracking, and resolution of supplier-driven changes. Advocate the risk-based approach to resolving SNC projects

- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze SNC data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all supplier changes comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to assess and manage the impact of supplier changes.

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of SNC activities and prepare reports for leadership and audit purposes.

Strategic Responsibilities

- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current SNC workflows and implement solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and supplier engagement.

- Risk Mitigation: Develop and refine risk assessment frameworks for supplier changes to minimize disruption and ensure business continuity.

- Technology Enablement: Partner with digital teams to evaluate and implement tools or platforms that enhance SNC tracking and management.

- KPI Development: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and supplier responsiveness.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead initiatives to educate and align internal and external stakeholders on SNC processes and best practices.  Identify owners responsible for products impacted by supplier changes to ensure cross functional awareness, clear project management ownership/leadership, and communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.  Engineering or Science degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Supplier Quality and/or Change Control is strongly preferred
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, healthcare industry (Pharma or medical device) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Expertise in problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Attention to detail while moving projects forward with sense of urgency and speed
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, with Visio, SharePoint preferred
  • Proven data drive, analytical, and fact-based approach to problem solving
  • Able to read, write and speak English proficiently
