The Apps and AnalyticsTeam, part of the Procurement Center of Excellence (COE), is responsible for driving data analytics, automation, and the effective management of procurement platforms such as Coupa. This team focuses on building and maintaining tools that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the procurement function. Through advanced analytics, process automation, and digital transformation, the team enables procurement to deliver value and innovation across the organization.

Position Overview

The Senior Associate Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the team by leveraging data, automation, and platform expertise to solve complex business problems. This position will focus on maintaining and improving analytics capabilities, automating workflows, and optimizing procurement platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, governance, and application development, with a commitment to enhancing the digital capabilities of the procurement organization.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address their analytics, automation, and platform requirements.

• Design, develop, and maintain analytics dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.

• Support automation of procurement workflows through low-code/no-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform.

• Define and implement data standards, governance policies, and procedures to maintain data quality and integrity.

• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement within procurement.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to data, automation, and procurement platforms, providing timely solutions.

• Develop technical documentation, including process workflows, data definitions, and user guides.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards while enabling innovative data use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, automation, or procurement platform management.

• Proficiency in analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).

• Experience in building and managing applications using low-code/no-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform.

• Knowledge of ERP / P2P systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Coupa) and their integration with procurement processes.

• Ability to work in at least one programming language (ex: JavaScript, CSS, Python)

• Knowledge of cloud computing, such as AWS and Azure

• Excellent understanding of application design and programming principles

• Strong understanding of data governance, including data quality standards, metadata, and data lineage.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.

• Strong communication skills, including technical writing and presenting complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a regulated and highly technical environment preferred, such as experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, OEM, and/or Medical Device industries.
