Summary
Global Product Operations team (RunOps R&D) – An arm of Global Digital Products that provides application L2, L3, Infrastructure maintenance and deployment support.
"Sr Eng, RunOps R&D" an individual contributor, Subject Matter Expert who can guide and mentor an Application Support team.
The role will accomplish two purposes, first to coordinate and work across teams to support/ guide internal team to solve user issues, and second will bridge the technical/functional knowledge sharing on new product development.
Responsibilities
Provide Level 2, Level 3 support for Java based medical application.
Troubleshoot and identify root causes with minimal supervision.
Working with cross functional team members to identify, document, investigate and resolve user issues/concerns.
Collaboration with stakeholders including R&D, DevOps, third parties, Scrum & Delivery teams and Investigation teams.
Well versed in ITIL process and maintain Lifecyle while resolution ticket.
Form partnership with team and balance uneven workloads across team to meet SLA, deployments and projects milestones.
Drive productivity with focus on automation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate across global teams and partner with R&D to meet business goals.
Document processes and monitoring application performance metrics.
Establish root causes for application errors and help address the issues.
Perform memory utilization analysis, thread analysis, transaction analysis.
Skills & Qualifications
Senior Application Support engineer with medical industry exposure is desired, applicants with job history in other discipline are invited to apply with below requirements are meet.
General:
6 - 8+ Overall experience.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize work.
Must be a self-motivator and team player.
Passionate about continuous learning and keeping up with latest technologies.
Tools & Technology:
Experience in Application Support organization
Experience in Java based application support
Well versed in SQL queries
Experience in cloud environment and containerization will add value.
