Your role at Vantive

  • Manage global Test automation for global applications demonstrating cloud services
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software validation knowledge is required for this role.
  • Create technical architecture and development of global applications
  • Responsible for Quality data and technology application/design management
  • Lead technical development activities of external resources within the group or a project.
  • Resolve and handle technical aspects of a project, priorities, timelines, and schedules

What you will be doing

  • Lead the IT Quality, Testing, & Validation team within the assigned process areas to ensure flawless execution of all projects and initiatives.
  • Supports testing efforts of major enterprise applications and others as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, PM) across shores to  develop and implement testing and validation plans.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation and standards to meet validation requirements.
  • Ensure all systems and applications are thoroughly tested.
  • Train users on the testing processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  • Identification and resolution of quality issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Work closely with relevant individuals to identify testing priorities and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Should have good understanding and experience on execution and managing GxP projects and deliverables.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the QA organization.
  • Conduct manual testing and usability testing.
  • Support test automation efforts.
  • Participate in agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Partners with end users to understand workflow and business processes.
  • Identify, track, lead defect triage meetings, report defects and testing metrics.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools.
  • Work with partner to develop and execute automated testing strategies for software applications.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks using automation tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify testing needs and priorities.
  • Integrate automated tests with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technology and meaningful work experience required.
  • 10+ years of successful experience for applications with high degree of complexity
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience/results in leading and mentor project teams, accomplishing results through self and others
  • Demonstrated record of effectively implementing quality assurance strategies and practices.
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication with the ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ambitious and driven to achieve outstanding results.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering flawless outcomes.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools
  • Familiarity with cloud services and experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing and experience with mobile testing frameworks like Calabash, Robotium, or Appium.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and ability to collaborate with DevOps teams.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of security testing and ability to ensure the security of the application being tested.
