Summary

This Deployment Analyst is responsible for the daily replenishment planning and management of product deployments to the local Distribution Network to achieve inventory targets. This role ensures the daily deployment plan is executed and is responsible for working cross-functionally with Planning, Transportation, 3PL, Production and Carriers. This position ensures operational success by managing resource allocations, optimizing inventory levels, and upholding compliance with organizational and industry standards.   They will need to use the following systems for a successful plan execution: DRP Plan from Rapid Response, Transportation Warehouse Optimization (TWO), Blue Yonder (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and JDE.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Execute the daily deployment plan based on finished good inventory levels at local DCs to achieve target Days of Supply, considering the space utilization in the network.

·       Coordinate the deployment based on carrier and lane capabilities to ensure a successful execution.

·       Proactively monitor code level inventory at the Distribution Centers and work with supply planners to ensure system parameters are in place

·       Manage the inventory distribution of short supply products to ensure quick recovery of inventory position in the network.

·       Provide critical thinking and process execution support in deployment projects- product conversions, new product launches, new Distribution Center set ups.

·       Manage inbound and outbound volumes in 3PL facilities and rebalances within the network.

·       Report forecast anomalies at branch-level based on usage.

·       Manage weekly late firm reporting and cross-functional follow up to close out open Pos.

·       Update JDE system/ Rapid response with real time estimated delivery date data from Blue Yonder.

·       Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly report requirements are met and published in a timely manner.

·       Continue to explore opportunities to improve replenishment processes and visibility.

·       Identify excess inventory in outlying DC’s and partner with planning and commercial to recommend and action to rebalance the network.

·       Liaison with supply chain to identify root cause backorder items, either through safety stock adjustment or forecast optimization

·       Ensure replenishment load trailers are fully utilized based upon freight requirements by utilizing the system TWO.

·       Develop shipping schedules for replenishment loads to optimize truck load replenishment and meet service targets.

·       Work with Transportation and Logistics teams to minimize DDS and aged orders costs based on quality and business requirements.

·       Applies practical problem-solving and decision-making to deliver real-time solutions to problems.

Qualifications:

·       Demonstrated ability to interact with and function as a liaison with key stakeholders.

·       Capability to analyze large amounts of data to optimize processes and identify solutions.

·       Ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute daily tasks on a timely basis, and project management skills.

·       Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

·       Ability to solve complex problems and identify solutions.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel (Intermediate), PowerPoint, Visio and Word)

·       Ability to operate in complex, fast paced environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work streams, teams, and functions.

·       Resourceful, able to find creative solutions to challenges.

·       Strong analytical and business problem solving skills

·       Critical decision-making skills that affect customer needs and service.

Education and/or Experience. 

Required:

·       Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

  • Degree in Business/Supply Chain

·       2+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics
