Your Role
As a Technical Lead, your role is to act as an internal expert and leader in the EAI space. You will be providing innovative, scalable, and high-quality solutions to meet business needs from inception through design, implementation, and enhancement, across the EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) space. You will proactively and holistically lead and support both business led and internal initiatives that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions in the EAI domain. You will also provide technical guidance to team members, both internal and external, through the life cycle of these solutions. The Technical Lead will contribute to overarching governance and processes, frameworks, platform, and strategy in the EAI space, as well as participate in leading through major transformation activities.
What you will be doing
Lead Solutions Design and Analysis
Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of key integration solutions across a group of specific business applications or technologies in an assigned commercial domain.
Creates and delivers comprehensive integration solutions focused on detailed design principles, decision points and dependencies between business and IT.
Manages and develops the integration patterns for a broader scope of projects or products, working closely with the business, cross-functional IT teams, and external partners for each project, product, or initiative.
Analyzes the business-IT environment (run, grow and transform the business) to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommends solutions for improvement (systems of record, differentiation, and innovation).
Orchestrate Solutions Delivery
Designs and directs the governance activities associated with ensuring delivery adheres to architectural framework, assurance, and compliance.
Facilitates the evaluation and selection of appropriate integration patterns and delivery mechanisms, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations.
Monitors the current-state integration portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.
Facilitates and Collaborates to Deliver Business Outcomes
Works closely with the project management office to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle.
Works closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Partner with application architects within agile teams to ensure the project or product is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.
Consults with application and infrastructure development projects and products to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify projects to accommodate the solutions architecture.
What you will bring
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, MIS, engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
12+ years of overall professional IT experience.
10+ years of proven experience in the design, coding and implementation of application integration solutions; specific experience with service-oriented architectures, ESB, web services, and Restful services principles and concepts are required.
4+ years of proven experience as a senior developer, engineer, or lead in the EAI space.
Strong experience with MuleSoft solutions preferred.
Strong experience with holistic designs incorporating both cloud-based (AWS) technologies and applications with a wide variety of application platforms, protocols, and services/interfaces.
Experience with ERP integrations a plus.
Demonstrated capability to quickly adapt to and leverage new technologies, platforms, and methodologies.
Proven experience with the migration of application integrations and cross-domain integration projects.
Foundational understanding of the key principles of architecture designs.
Experience in a customer-facing role such as technical support, consulting, or solutions architecture.
Familiarity with information models and industry data standards such as automation and agile architecture.
Understanding of regulated Healthcare industry, FDA design controls requirements is an advantage.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
