Your role at Vantive
As the Senior Manager, IT Campus Network Lead, you will be responsible for leading the global strategic direction and management of all IT Network Campus technologies, as well as some Network Security aspects of our Manufacturing network.
Your team and you will be responsible for all aspects of our Campus Network for Vantive sites around the world, including cloud networking in AWS & Azure public cloud environment.
You will be accountable for all LAN services (wired & wireless), supporting the diverse business requirements globally, as well as keeping our OT Manufacturing network secure.
Additionally, you will be tasked with designing and implementing the next-generation Campus network solution for Vantive.
By bringing industry best practices to Vantive, you will contribute to the company's continued success in the global market.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead a large, globally diverse agile team responsible for Wireless & Wired LAN Campus technology, security of Manufacturing sites and support AWS & Azure cloud networking.
Lead the migration as we plan to move away from Baxter Network Infrastructure.
Develops and implements the strategic vision for future Campus networking services aligned with overall IT and business objectives.
Partners with senior IT leadership to develop the strategy for the global Infrastructure and Operations function.
Be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT Campus Network solutions.
Looks for ways to automate and orchestrate Campus Networking tasks as well as firewall change, and the work related to Public Cloud networking.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the solutions.
Champion a customer-centric approach to IT service delivery focusing on improving the end user, customer, and patient experience.
Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, develop product roadmaps based on customer feedback with the aim of a continuous improvement cycle.
Carry the product vision and plan the overall IT Campus Network product roadmap.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Ensure timely and effective incident resolution, problem management, and service request fulfillment with DevOps principles in mind.
Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies to make informed recommendations for improvement.
Always look for ways to automate the solutions & services provided.
Up to 20% of travel expected.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or a master’s degree.
10+ years of IT Networking and Campus network management experience and familiarity with cloud-based networking platforms and legacy on-prem solutions.
Mandatory experience in large-scale WAN/LAN network and cloud technologies.
Industry/Vendors certification (CCIE, CCDE certification, cloud certification, …).
Familiarity with Campus vendor solutions like Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Dell, …
Experience with Zscalersolutions and 5G private deployment.
Nice-to-have Agile/Scrum/Project Management certifications.
Previous experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or SRE role is a plus
Ability to communicate complex systems and ideas across multiple departments.
Strong experience with network automation platforms & tools.
Solid knowledge of IT security and data privacy best practices.
Self-motivated, works well with little supervision, and thrives in a team environment.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and change, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Experience managing IT personnel and external service providers.
