Summary
Covering this role, you’ll have the opportunity to manage import and export processes for various Vantive legal entities, ensuring customs compliance.
You’ll also organize and supervise activities in regard to optimization of timelines and costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Managing the import processes relevant to permanent and/or temporary operations with focus on customs/USMAF (sanitary for medical devices) compliance
· Filing documentation regarding each import
· Analysis of customs tariffs, with reference to Customs official guidelines
· Deployment of Vantive guidelines with reference to tenders and freight
· Management of invoices from carriers for import traffic in collaboration with the administration department.
· Check of customs bill of entries
· Performs backup for exports to support the team.
· Interaction with the transports teams and brokers to manage freights and carriers relevant to lanes in scope.
· Contributes to achieve targets as set from quality policies and EHS requirements
Qualifications
· Fluent written and spoken English
· Knowledge of incoterms
· Competencies relevant to customs issues: analysis and understanding of customs tariffs, relation with USMAF, import of medical devices and requirements for registration at the Ministry of Health
· Knowledge of national and international legislation that regulates foreign trade
· Problem solving and Team work
Education and/or experience
· Degree in economics or equivalent
· Experience in the field of imports and exports in a strongly structured company
