Your role at Vantive
As the Sr Marketing Manager Acute Therapies, you will be central in managing the EMEA marketing activities, developing and implementing tools and programs for use by country marketing teams. Partnering with the countries to provide strong marketing leadership, you will drive the implementation of commercial effectiveness initiatives towards direct sales representatives and distributors to accelerate profitable sales.
The position will report to the regional team and support both the EMEA Leadership and country organization. Travel expected for ≈ +/- 25% of the time in EMEA, with hybrid or fully remote working possibilities within an EMEA country.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as primary marketing contact point for country teams for Acute Therapies products as defined.
- Represent EMEA in the Acute Therapies product leadership team (GBU driven) and ensure that branding efforts, tools and programs reflect regional market needs
- Support the following portfolio marketing activities:
- Ensure alignment, harmonization, endorsement, commitment and execution of agreed Global Business Unit / regional strategies
- Encourage, coordinate, and facilitate the exchange of best practices
- Provide commercial insights to countries. Provide training and coaching on international marketing plans, standards and requirements, and provide voice of Country feedback to enhance corporate processes and programs
- Escalate/ manage/ coordinate crisis issues with key Global Business Unit leaders / cross functional teams including country business unit head.
- Facilitate integration/ alignment of Medical Affairs, education, global supply and Market Development/Access activities with marketing strategies, including tender management and cross-functional tender facilitation
- Coordinate and execute agreed regional events and programs e.g. Market Research, Advisory Boards, Medical Training, Regional Congresses, Peer to Peer events.
- Ensure that agreed commercial strategies and tactics have buy- in and alignment with country and Global Business Unit leadership and key functional stakeholders (e.g. Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access and Supply Chain, Finance at country and Global Business Unit level as required)
- Develop and implement rigorous product launch / country readiness programs including pre-marketing and pre-launch activities to ensure commercial success & deliver differentiated value propositions
- Build lasting relationships with key opinion leaders and gain insights from them for use in developing novel segmentation, targeting and positioning of the products
- Provide product, technical and competitive knowledge to increase competency and effectiveness of country marketing teams, sales representatives and distributors
- Ensure adherence to pricing strategies for assigned product lines
- Manage the expense budget of his/her area of responsibility.
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive regional and/or international Marketing and Commercial experience in the Medical Device industry with preferably, familiarity with Acute Therapies and Digital Health
- Proven track record of successfully leading product launches, of market penetration and market growth programs
- Strong business acumen demonstrated in driving commercial effectiveness initiatives in the Medical Device industry
- Outstanding communication in English, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills as well as critical thinking & project management skills working with Agile methodology
- Excellent cross-cultural collaboration skills with ability to successfully work within a matrix, cross functional, and geographically dispersing team environment
- A passion for marketing, with the ability to thrive working in and managing change, as well as ambiguity
