Position:Field Service Engineer (NSW)

Area of responsibility:Sydney Metro, Northern NSW and Interstate.

Type:Fixed Term Contract (Open to Extension or Conversion based on performances)

Duration:12 Months

Work Office:Vantive Old Toongabbie Office (Expected to move to New Office in Victoria Cross, North Sydney soon)

Report:Regional Lead, Technical Services

Visa Condition:Must have valid working rights in Australia (Permanent Resident or Citizen)

Work Condition:Must obtain NSW restricted electrical license.

We are currently looking for a dedicatedField Service Engineerto join our Technical Service Team inNew South Waleswith an opportunity to work on our sites.

Reporting to the Regional Lead, Technical Services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients around the world. You will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team, working together to ensure the successful implementation of our life-saving medical equipment.

This is a critical area of the business, and we are looking for high performers with a breadth of proven experience within electro-mechanical or technical and computer competency skills. A full current driver's license is crucial, and a generous car allowance will be provided for this role. Key Responsibilities:

  •    Installation, repair and testing of medical equipment

  •    Planning and performing annual maintenance program for a variety of hardware

  •    Provide trouble shooting technical support to customers

  •    Record accurate reporting of service details

  •    Identify and communicate repair trends

  •    Excellent customer focus and relationship building

  •    Ability to travel as required

  •    Strong written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility towards obtaining an NSW restricted electrical license.

  • Obtain Electronics/ Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Advance Diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry would be ideal, however not necessary.

  • Solid technical experience in an electro-mechanical and/or electrical field.

  • Understanding of servicing to Australia Standard AS3551.

  • Valid and unrestricted Driver’s license with access to a vehicle

  • Any required certification for working in public places and the health field by local law.

  • Current Driver's License

  • Minimum basic skill level in MS Office applications.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team player, with a drive and determination to succeed.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Current Working with Children Check Number.

  • Police & Health Clearance needed (When it comes to the offering process).
