What you'll be doing:
Operations Management
- Supports the Global Category Manager of the category to ensure the strategy's execution.
- Delivers savings pipeline in line with targets
- Advance category analysis through data crunching: Collect, clean, organize and control raw data.
- Manage the spending of his/her assigned category(ies) through its corresponding analysis to detect and implement potential saving projects and sourcing strategies.
- Execution of contracts for strategic / critical suppliers in conjunction with the Stakeholders and the Legal area that allows the guarantee of business continuity, through mitigation of commercial, quality and supply risks.
- Generate market intelligence oriented to the assign category(ies) of your competition, to find new business opportunities with strategic suppliers that provide economic and performance benefit to the corresponding operations.
- Leads RFIs/RFPs and contract negotiations for his/her category
- Contributes to and/or leads local projects according to Category Management
- Reports on status, savings, performance, and risks on the sourcing activities he/she oversees.
- Stays informed on current industry trends and new market developments related to his/her category area
- Undertakes benchmarking against other industries and best practices
- Teamwork through close communication with the Procurement colleagues and the Category Managers assigned to the category(ies) within the Procurement structure at a local, regional and global level.
- Run SRM program with suppliers of his/her scope
- Develop strong and ethical relationships with suppliers and ensure that all activities surrounding agreements with suppliers are carried out under the auspices of Good Negotiation Practices and in accordance with Company's code of conduct and Quality standards
- Maintains comprehensive understanding of Procurement Policies/Processes related to Risk/CSR/Compliance, and ensures that these are adhered to by relevant team members
- Identifies non-compliant processes and defines appropriate corrective measures Audit management
Stakeholder Management
- Develops strong partnerships with his/her key internal customers, and foster two-way supportive relationships with them
- Presents Procurement strategies to key internal customers for review and input. Business review meeting execution and follow-up.
What you'll be doing:
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years' experience in Procurement or related field
- Solid knowledge of managing sourcing strategies for indirect categories, preferably in: Professional Services, IT, HR Services.
- Desirable, knowledge of managing negotiations, contracts, and regulations for the health sector.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly (e.g. JDE, COUPA, SAP)
- Analytic advanced skills for data crunching purpose (Excel, Power BI, Think cell, etc ).
- Advanced management of Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc).
- Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes
- Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results
- Management and implementation of projects
- Intermediate or advanced English
- Possesses strong competency in partnering with various stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
