Role Summary:
- Depot Service Engineer is responsible for all aspects of equipment support performed in depot or prior to delivery, and to ensure that it is completed in compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures. This may include pre-delivery inspection, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment and breakdown repair.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for in-house commissioning, de-contamination, maintenance, re-certification, upgrade, troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Able to support on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment
- Capture service activities accurately and prepare detailed service report in service delivery system and ensure service documents are submitted on-time
- Escalate any customer complaints whenever necessary
- Responsible to ensure timely completion of assigned service job
- Work closely with clinical and sales team
- Support all supplemental activities within Technical Services operations
- To do daily/weekly/monthly checks for the test tools and workstations as per procedure.
- To maintain all the test tools and equipment's under calibration, contact calibration vendor when it is due, upload calibration certificates in the system once calibration done.
- Able to provide service support after office hour, weekends and public holidays if whenever required
- To contact customer and arrange collection of equipment's for repair/PM as and when needed.
Education & Experience:
- Diploma in Biomedical Engineering / Other Engineering
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, multiple task management
- Customer oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 2-3 years’ experience
- At least 1 year of technical experience in dialysis machines or relevant experience servicing medical equipment.
