Global support of the Manufacturing Operations Categories. Has in-depth technical knowledge of the categories responsible for, as well as stakeholder and supplier management for Indirect Procurement. Responsibilities include proactively leading cost reduction projects, designing and proposing supplier development strategies, negotiations and contracting, making and executing decisions to ensure quality products and services on time according to Vantive’s business needs.
- Conduct in-depth spend and market analysis on targeted areas of spend to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
- Define the sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers for its portfolio and region
- Define and execute annual saving plans, including identifying key drivers, and developing strategies to achieve those targets.
- Develop RFI/RFP documents and lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve short-term and long-term savings targets.
- Identifies and drives cross countries initiative and lead cross functional teams to successfully drive complex sourcing projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
- Register the projects pipeline in the appropriate sourcing tools and provide regular reporting as to their status and expected benefits.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams, to ensure the necessary buy-in for sourcing projects.
- Apply appropriate competitive cost and process benchmarks, financial analysis, and risk management techniques to solve complex issues.
- Generate regular reports for the category lead concerning the categories of spend under your responsibility.
- Drive effective Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers and monitor performance.
EDUCATION
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related areas required.
TRAINING
- Proven experience in people, stakeholders and project management.
- Ability to coordinate multiple parallel sourcing initiatives across different business groups.
- Strong analytic and negotiation skills.
- Business sense and ability to develop critical thinking.
- Experience in contracting to include but not be limited to Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments and NDAs.
- Understanding of Procurement standard processes, supply markets, suppliers and products.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix environment.
- Understanding of pricing models and contracts terms.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in category management experience with multinational organizations.
