Role overview
As a member of the Supply Chain Strategy team, the Supply Chain Solution Analyst will support leadership team, subject matter experts and managers from across the organization on strategic initiatives.
The Supply Chain Solution will work on high-priority strategic initiatives in alignment with the business strategy and long-term goals by providing data-based and innovative analytic solutions to support decision making, new initiatives, process improvement recommendations, establishing global standard work, translating & prioritizing requirements, supporting transportation value improvement projects including inbound freight management for the MPT Manufacturing locations. This will include to work closely with global service providers and regional functional stakeholders to simplify transportation processes, develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize SC efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall performance. What you'll be doing
Drive global standardization of logistics processes
Execute value improvement projects against ~$750M of freight under management
Manage all aspects of multiple medium sized and/or complex projects from initiation through closure
Develop, sell, and implement comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and ensuring successful transition to operations teams
Own all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk
Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications
Overcome roadblocks to ensure project delivery is made in line with internal and external customers’ requirements
Develop, coach and lead operations teams, setting measurable goals and objectives to evaluate success
Maintain functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of logistics systems, organization, and business processes
Drive continuous improvement culture with a pipeline of ideas for service improvements, cost reduction, efficiency and/or optimization
Present updates to Transportation Leadership Team with clear timing and deliverables
Ensures adherence of inbound freight activities (Baxter sites, suppliers, carriers, 4PL service provider) to applicable standard work and immediately addresses any deviations
Reports financials for inbound transportation

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and can work with an appreciable amount of latitude.
Lean/six sigma training and certification preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication in English language, Spanish is an advantage
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Team player mentality with the capacity to lead and contribute to cross-function initiatives

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent experience
3 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, healthcare services and/or specialty pharmacy service
2+ years of Experience working on large-scale or multi-faceted projects
