Role overview
This position will be responsible for the end to end freight cost invoice approval process, in cluding carrier advisory on the Baxter Invoicing rules, Invoice verification, invoice confirmation, cost coding and allocation, accrual process, Freight cost monitoring and analysis.
What you'll do
Monitor and validate the freight cost invoices (Value, Entity, Nature of Cost, Variances between Actual Cost vs GOP/GAP/FTL) issued by the carriers;
Perform Freight Cost Allocation in JD Edwards system for Replenishment, Direct Freight and Home Patient Freight domestic and international markets;
Perform tests and setups and maintaining the JOE Freight Cost Allocation module;
Calculate and monitor the freight cost accruals for local and International distribution;
Cooperate and communicate with the Production plants and Distribution Centers regarding the performed transportation services and the costs;
Cooperate with Finance teams and outsourced Shared Service Centers to ensure the correct financial flows and cost booking;
Coordinate the Invoicing processes with International Freight Forwarders and local carriers;
Manage freight contracts and tariffs database;
Supervision of shipment costs;
Compliance with the GDP/GMP and internal quality policies;
Cooperate with Supply Chain Management team to provide a high-quality analytics and data on Freight cost;
Build excellent relationships with suppliers (4Pls);
Summarize current cost situation by collecting information; preparing reports, forecasting future spend, supporting business profitability calculations and other;
Computation of Freight Cost Accrual as a part of the month end closure process and Submission of the Accrual to the Liabilities Team for accounting;
Support Commercial/ Pricing Team with the Freight Cost Estimates as and when required.
What you'll bring
University degree (preferably Logistics/Supply Chain related or Finance/Economics);
Incoterms knowledge;
Advanced English level, both written and spoken;
Advanced user of Excel;
Knowledge of ERP (JD Edwards) systems would be a benefit;
Strong computer skills, ability to learn quickly new programs;
Excellent communication skills, and ability to work with different teams and personalities;
Ability to work under pressure;
Meticulous - showing great attention to detail, very careful and precise;
Communicative, customer focused;
Team work ability;
Driven to deliver high quality service;
Disciplined, independent in executing tasks, but also a strong team player;
