Job Summary
As a Network Planner you will coordinate the production of finished goods for a global, multi-site supply chain, work with ERP systems and planning tools (RapidResponse/JDE), balancing plant efficiency, sales, distribution, customer service and inventory requirements, support the Execution teams in Material and Daily Replenishment Planning activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for Production planning, Material purchasing support and inventory management of a portfolio of finished goods
- Support/Lead the OPLAN Process with key stakeholders e.g. Plant management – reporting Sales, Production and Inventory
- Formulate & Communicate short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demand
- Define & approve planning parameters that drive OTIF and Inventory performance
- Accountable for achieving Inventory Targets
- Collaborate with other Planners and Managers, Demand planners, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial & Shipping teams
- Proactively managing supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate
- Review transfer order exceptions and cancel, close out, or decrease orders where necessary
- Monitor supply chain performance, review & support planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply scenario planning & collaboration Rapid Response functionality and tools
- Maintain product code data and statistics in various systems
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or similar fields
- Demonstrable strategic level of 3-5 Years working experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning/Distribution
- In-depth understanding of all aspects of the end-to-end supply chain and how we interact with other functions
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional/personal development
- Ability to work effectively with people across many different Functions and Countries
- Good communication skills required
- Disciplined, independent in executing tasks, but also a strong team player
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office, reading and creating reports and conducting analysis for business decisions
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to processes
- Drives results with a sense of urgency and accountability
- Knowledge in JDE or similar platform is an advantage
- Deep knowledge of a Standard ERP System (Kinaxis Rapid Response preferred) would be considered an advantage
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory
- Language: German & France Knowledge is beneficial
