Role overview

At Vantive, we are building a best-in-class Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization. We are determined to deliver best results through implementing initiatives which streamline processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships and enhance opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

Within this position, it is required to work in both detailed analysis and summarizing key points for discussion with senior stakeholders. This position interacts with the EMEA FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) leadership team as well as budget holders and senior business leaders within the ECEMEA region. In this position you will support the strategic planning process, annual budgeting and forecasting processes and monthly performance reviews. In addition, this position will support high value-added business analytics as well as drive the development of senior management presentations for this dynamic and growing region.

What you'll do

  • Business partner for functions budget holders and function leaders to review projections, budgets and historical results,

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, partnering with VP’s / GM’s to ensure cost control and budget delivery,

  • Ensure forecast and plan are accurately loaded and reflected in planning systems,

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation, through in depth analysis,

  • Support the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with cost center owner, etc.,

  • Partner with Accounting COE to ensure accurate reporting,

  • Coordinate escalation / identification of issues and advise Finance leadership of potential business and / or operational risks,

  • Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures, as needed,

  • Support Finance leadership with process improvement, policy development, and / or strategic initiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and / or policies),

  • Liaise with other cross-functional leads to support the creation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality / control requirements,

  • Liaise with Global functional leads, explaining EMEA function performance.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field preferred,

  • Demonstration of key finance competencies and typically 5 + years of experience in a Controlling or FP&A field,

  • Expert in technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of: internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment,

  • Excellent analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting,

  • Experience with JD Edwards (JDE), PowerBI and Planful preferred,

  • Self-starter with excellent decision-making capabilities, communication and strong interpersonal skills

  • Expert in PowerPoint and Excel,

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally,

  • Native or bilingual proficiency of English required,

  • Other language with professional proficiency would be a plus.
