Your Role

The Position will report to the Chief Privacy Officer. 

The position will work from the Vantive HQ in Deerfield, Il.  Vantive offers flexible work arrangements, so work-from-home during the week is an option depending on the needs of the business. Remote candidates will be considered.

The individual will serve as Vantive’s Global Privacy Analyst.  You will report into the Chief Privacy Officer aligned under legal and assist with the implementation and operation of Vantive’s global privacy program.

This is a key role in helping to establish and operationalize the Vantive global privacy model, and this individual will work with commercial, legal and compliance teams across the organization in all Vantive global markets.   

What You'll be Doing

  • Educate the business on the need (and process) for completion of privacy impact assessments (PIA), and assist with the completion of PIAs.
  • Assist with the creation of records of processing activities (RoPAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Assist in the development, training and workflows for completion of PIAs, RoPAs and DPIAs.
  • Assist with the review and response to cyber and data incidents, and track and maintain a record of incidents in accordance with Vantive policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain privacy compliance records, contracts, templates and documentation.
  • Assist with the development of the Privacy Intranet site and tools/guidance for the business.
  • Help develop, organize and maintain the internal Privacy Champions Community.
  • Assist with other privacy and data protection related projects as determined with your manager.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a global company supporting Privacy/Data Protection.   
  • Solid understanding of global privacy laws and regulations.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience in managing data incidents and breaches.
  • Must have familiarity with the common privacy compliance tools  – e.g. One Trust, etc. Advanced proficiency a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and respond to shifting priorities. 
  • Experience in deploying new processes, and in creating and delivering training

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 - $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
