Your Role at Vantive
As a Senior Tax Analyst in our Costa Rica Shared Service Center, you will contribute to Vantive’s mission by supporting critical tax reporting and compliance functions for our U.S. and Global Tax operations. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing global tax team, engage with cross-functional partners, and help drive operational excellence through technology and process improvements. You’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting while supporting strategic initiatives that enhance our global tax footprint.
What You'll Be Doing
Support preparation of quarterly and annual U.S. and Global income tax provisions under ASC 740.
Assist with federal and state tax filings, including book-to-tax adjustments and estimated payments.
Reconciling US and Foreign tax accounts on a quarterly basis (for direct and indirect tax balances).
Manage estimated tax payments and data for tax compliance.
Maintain organized records of filings, payments, and correspondence.
Collaborate with global teams to gather and validate tax data for reporting and compliance.
Leverage Microsoft Office 365 and data analytics tools to streamline tax processes.
Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain documentation aligned with internal controls and audit requirements.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in a U.S. tax department; experience in multinational corporation is a strong plus.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
Experience in data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Power BI, is a nice to have.
Experience with Oracle, SmartView, JDE, ONESOURCE OTP, Income Tax or similar tools is considered a plus.
Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in global teams.
