Your Role

This position is responsible for Commercial Excellence’s contract administration, sales compensation, analytics and CRM support activities for the Latin America North business. 

This role will support the business portfolio in order to maximize and execute on the strategic goals and objectives for over $225M in annual revenue.  The role will be accountable for identifying and implementing best practices across businesses to increase efficiencies and financial vitality with an emphasis on simplification and automaton while ensuring compliance with all business, legal and ethics & compliance requirements.  Serve as lead for applicable business process improvements related to Commercial Excellence activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the contract execution reporting process, aligning with business strategies and ensuring compliance with all agreement terms, including incentives, rebates, price adjustments, and product additions/deletions. Collaborate with country managers, marketing, and sales to negotiate agreements that drive profitability. Interpret data, transform it into actionable insights, and provide recommendations to the senior leadership team for informed decision-making.

  • Partner with regional Center of Excellence to advance business intelligence and CRM initiatives within Latin America North.

  • Manage all aspects of Sales Compensation including plan design, quota development, incentive calculations and performance reporting.

  • Lead pricing execution efforts for contracts to maximize overall profitability for the cluster.

  • Work closely with senior business leaders to drive the development and implementation of practical solutions to address business objectives, goals and/or exceptions. Convert strategy into action.

  • Relationship management at all levels and across functions including Sales, Marketing, Tenders, Finance, Legal, IT and other Commercial Excellence groups.

  • Manage multiple, complex projects with broad scope simultaneously both within and outside own functional area.

  • Direct and coordinate all activities of the Latin America North Commercial Excellence team to drive continuous process improvements and organizational efficiencies.

  • Lead and develop team members towards achieving individual and team objectives and goals.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance or similar fields required.

  • MBA degree preferred.

  • 5 + years of commercial operations experience recommended

  • Ability to communicate in English (Advanced level) and Spanish required.

  • A strong working knowledge of systems such as, J.D. Edwards, Salesforce.com or familiar with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP).

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Aptitude to evaluate stakeholder needs, prioritize commercial opportunities and execute process improvements.

  • Deep understanding of customers’ business priorities and buying journey as well as go to market strategy.

  • A spirit of collaboration across different teams and functions

  • Unmatched collaborator with a consistent ability to bring team members together to win; effectively interacts and communicates with all levels of management and employees within the company with strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
