Your Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end tender management, contract management through its entire life cycle, contract maintenance, and understand the risks associated with business/legal. You may have the opportunity to negotiate terms & conditions with customers as detailed within the responsibilities listed below.
What you'll be doing:
Contract and Tender Management
Work across multiple corporate functions;
End-to-end management of contract renewals, strategies and tenders by overseeing the entire process;
Project manage and respond to RFPs;
Check multiple RFP websites on a daily basis to search for RFPs posted for Vantive’s product line;
Work with all levels of management to better understand needs and provide guidance;
Recommend rebate structures and verbiage;
Liaise with Sr. Manager, Contracts & RFPs, as well as Corporate Council, if required,on business/legal terms and conditions;
Adhere to templates and rebate library;
Minimize exposure to contractual risks through best-in-class terms/conditions assessment;
\Ensure compliance with BOPs and respond to internal/external audits;
Drive efficiencies through process improvements, standardization, and best practices;
Sales analytical support, contract maintenance and reporting;
Support the frontline sales team;
Support contract implementation, maintenance, and renewals by providing recommendations and ensure alignment to corporate directives, strategies, and BOPs;
Host RFP kicks off calls, provide guidance, and recommendation to price strategies;
Maximize business profitability within Vantive guidelines in collaboration with Sales and Marketing;
Optimize opportunities by extending contract term beyond one year to defend exiting business from competitors and incentivize customer volume growth/product penetration;
Rationalize and standardize agreements utilizing standard Vantive contract template;
Negotiate terms and conditions with external customer to limit the risk to Vantive, if required;
Manage projects within the Contracts team as well as participate on projects with other departments.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required
3+ years of experience with contracts
Bilingualism - French & English
Demonstrated ability to apply Vantive’s Culture Levers to daily work, problem-solving;
Requires strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various internal teams to achieve a goal, at times with minimal supervision or direction;
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work proficiently and drive for timely and accurate results with limited supervision
Must have excellent organization skills and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
Strong functional knowledge of a contract lifecycle management system and the ability to train others;
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience working with data and reporting tools such as Cognos, Tableau or other BI tools is required;
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks;
Knowledge of the Canadian Health Care System as well as Group Purchasing Organizations.
Ability to negotiate terms and conditions to lower Vantive’s risk.
