This role is responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction, commercial operations, and overall performance of Acute Business. This role drives business growth, ensures profitability, and leads cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals withing a highly regulated and competitive healthcare environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
Strategic Leadership
· Develop and implement short and long term business strategies aligned with corporate objectives
· Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities, risks and competitive trends
· Define annual business plans, set financial targets(sales, profit, market share) and manage P&L
· Oversee portfolio management including product life cycle strategy and new product launches
Commercial Management
· Lead sales and marketing teams to deliver operational excellence and revenue growth
· Drive omnichannel marketing initiatives and digital transformation within the business unit
· Optimize resource allocation and promotional investments based on ROI and market dynamics
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs and institutional partners
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain, and Finance team to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives
· Collaborate closely with the global/regional team to localize global strategies and ensure alignment with local market needs
· Ensure compliance with global and local regulations, ethical standards, and company policies
People & Organizational Leadership
· Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams across commercial and cross functional teams
· Set clear performance objectives, provide regular coaching and feedback and build succession plans
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation withing the organization
· medical Manage the preparation of the Acute consolidated budgets, required reports and forecasts and present them to the Director for approval.

· Strategic Thinking: Able to translate market insights into actionable business strategies
· Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse and cross-functional teams.
· Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, pricing, access and healthcare economics
· Scientific Understanding: Solid knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical data interpretation
· Team Building - Able to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.
· Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external partners
· Digital Analytical Mindset: Competence in leveraging data and digital tools for decision-making
· Compliance Orientation: Deep awareness of industry regulations and ethical practices
· Problem Solving:Systematic approach in solving problems based on analysis and alternate solutions
Education and/or Experience.
· Minimum 15 years previous pharmaceutical / medical device experience
· Sound knowledge of Sales & Marketing Management across healthcare sector
· High level of skill commensurate with a minimum of 5 years management experience.
· Sound judgement in Business Acumen.
