This position will lead the marketing planning team of the Vantive China . As the regional SIOP leader, he/she will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the formulation of sales forecasts; at the same time, he/she will establish an efficient workflow with upstream suppliers to achieve and optimize key indicators (such as supply chain costs, cash flow, and customer satisfaction) continuously. He/she will also effectively connect with the global SIOP to continuously promote and improve the SIOP process and data management.

This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for the majority of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned.

  • Lead and influence SIOP process and continually improve it : identifying business demand, critical issues, facilitate discussion and decision making in support of goals: Demand and supply balance, one consensus demand FCST, Inventory management and Service level
  • Establish effective communication between upstream and downstream. Chair the pre-SIOP process, review requirements, supply chain conditions, and manage supply situations in regional/sub-market areas. Communicate any mid-term MPS adjustments and DRP parameters with ISC and sales-related parties, and proactively resolve supply issues.
  • Keep stabilizing service level, timely understand, resolve, communicate, escalate issues and define regional or segment plan to manage risks. For example, lead back-order risks and solution discussions with ISC and communicate to commercial teams.
  • Accountable for optimal inventory management by minimizing excess and obsolete inventory through product cycle management - New product launch, Phase in /Phase out, Sourcing change.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement to optimize inventory turns, service levels, maximize profitability, and support dynamic changes in market conditions and supply.
  • Develop and own the inventory plan and execution for the market.Drive for inventory optimization opportunity analysis and deployment.Analyze and report inventory variance. Facilitates discussions around exception-based planning to maintain targeted inventory levels, prevent stock-outs and balance financial impacts.
  • Be responsible for managing and updating relevant status and certification information, and based on factors such as import license registration, mergers and acquisitions, supply issues, etc., lead the strategic inventory construction planning . At the same time, communicate with relevant stakeholders and formulate an implementation plan. .

  • Rich experience in E2E supply chain management, including relevant financial knowledge.
  • Demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent managerial, analytical, organizational, problem solving, negotiating skills, and communication (both verbal and written).

  • Must be results-oriented and have the ability to work with a high degree of independence.
  • Demonstrate an ability to assess the impact of short-term decisions on the longer term business goals.
  • Must also have project management skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred with a minimum of 10 years related experience in supply chain management and finance - warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, or materials planning is required.
