Role overview

You  will play a critical role as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of applications supporting B2C, B2B, Technical Service, and Digital Products initiatives. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of applications tailored to renal systems, dialysis centers operated by Vantive, and innovative digital solutions for internal and external customers. The role requires managing a global team, coordinating with internal and external resources, and ensuring the effective delivery of technology-driven solutions in a dynamic, healthcare-focused environment.

What you’ll do

Manage medium size teams, demonstrate solid technical knowledge, demonstrate solid business knowledge, require limited direction, give significant direction, handle complex problems, possess strong knowledge of the policies, standards and procedures, have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•   Provide direct supervision of individuals including mentoring, performance management, and staffing decisions.
• Set team, group or service objectives and ensure they align with the IT vision and the teams' day-to-day activities.
•  Determine and manage priorities, timelines and schedules.
•  Interact regularly with customers to understand their business and to anticipate needed IT solutions.
•  Review team, group and/or service deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc.) and adherence to the processes, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the budget process and monitor the budget as appropriate.  Assist the business with IT capital and operating expense investment requirements.
• Participate in the research, analysis, selection, and implementation of new tools, technologies and/or services.
• Develop, gather and measure relevant productivity metrics.
• Manage or participate on projects as required.

What you’ll bring

• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage globally distributed teams and coordinate with external resources effectively.
• Financial Acumen: Strong experience in budget management and forecasting within an IT or service delivery context.
• Technical Expertise: Broad understanding of application development, deployment, and maintenance, with familiarity in healthcare technologies such as renal systems and digital health solutions being a plus.
• Cross-Functional Knowledge: Comfortable working across B2C, B2B, and technical service domains, with an ability to oversee a varied technology portfolio.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of distilling complex technical updates for senior management and diverse stakeholders.
• Global Team Management: Experience managing cross-cultural teams across different time zones, ensuring collaboration and productivity.
• Project Management: Ability to coordinate multiple projects and enhancements, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
