Position Summary

Lead the strategy, delivery, modernization, and operation of enterprise Data, Analytics, Cloud Application, and Platform capabilities. Enable scalable, secure, governed, and AI-enabled solutions that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Responsible for leading high-performing engineering teams, partnering with architecture and business stakeholders, and delivering large-scale data and digital transformation programs within enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing engineering teams across all levels, including senior and staff engineers.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, engineering excellence, collaboration, and customer-focused delivery.
• Mentor teams to operate effectively within enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
• Identify capability gaps and support hiring, onboarding, succession planning, and professional development.
• Promote a merit-based culture with a can-do mindset, continuous learning, innovation, and delivery excellence.

Engineering Delivery & Execution

• Own delivery planning, prioritization, sequencing, and execution for data, analytics, and cloud application engineering teams.
• Translate architecture and solution designs into actionable roadmaps, release plans, and delivery backlogs.
• Lead large-scale, multi-year programs involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage dependencies across platform, product, architecture, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet reliability, observability, scalability, security, governance, and operational excellence requirements.
• Foster adoption of AI-augmented development practices to improve engineering productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.

Technology Leadership, Quality & Governance

• Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure delivery aligns with approved architecture and enterprise standards.
• Drive engineering best practices across design, documentation, testing, automation, CI/CD, and observability.
• Lead production readiness, incident management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Business, Security, and Compliance teams to convert strategy into measurable delivery outcomes.
• Contribute to engineering governance, delivery metrics, portfolio transparency, and responsible use of AI-enabled development tools.

Data Management, Analytics & Platform Expertise

• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications that run on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
• Deep knowledge of data architecture, governance, quality, security, metadata management, lineage, master data management, and interoperability. Strong expertise in modern data platforms and Lakehouse architecture. Experienced in designing governed data products, semantic layers, and self-service analytics solutions, leveraging Power BI, Tableau, and modern BI platforms for executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and advanced analytics.
  
• Familiarity with AI/ML and Generative AI applications in Cloud Applications, Analytics, Engineering productivity and intelligent automation.
• Relevant certifications in Data Management, Cloud, Data Platforms, or Analytics preferred, including CDMP/DAMA, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Solutions Architect/Data Analytics, or equivalent certifications is an added advantage.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science,  Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
• 15+ years of experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing software engineering teams across Cloud Applications, Data Platforms, Analytics, and Business Intelligence domains.
• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams and delivering large-scale enterprise data, analytics, cloud, and digital transformation programs.
• Proven success leading complex, multi-year technology initiatives with multiple stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and enterprise-wide impact.
• Strong experience managing stakeholder ecosystems, influencing senior leadership, and driving execution across business and technology teams.
• Deep expertise in Agile delivery, program governance, financial and budget management, vendor management, and organizational change leadership.
• Familiarity with AI/ML, Generative AI, AI-augmented software development, intelligent automation, and AI applications in data and analytics ecosystems.

Experience in regulated, healthcare, privacy-sensitive, or high-trust environments preferred.
