Job Title: Sterilisation Process Operator

General Description of the Role

This role plays a key part in the daily operation of Vantive’s sterilisation process. The Sterilisation Process Operator will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring all finished goods are processed efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The successful candidate will support the effective and efficient operation of the sterilisation function, ensuring optimum throughput, quality, and regulatory compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily operation of Vantive’s sterilisation process to ensure all finished goods are processed in an efficient, timely, and coordinated manner
  • Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and quality standards
  • Operate and drive a fork truck to safely load and unload sterilisation vessels
  • Accurately complete all related documentation, maintaining excellent Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team responsible for sterilising finished goods
  • Respond efficiently to varying workloads and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Maintain a professional, helpful, and courteous approach in all duties
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues located in Castlebar
  • Carry out other duties as assigned to support operational needs

Education Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate (minimum requirement)

Experience & Skills Required

  • Confident and articulate communicator
  • Able to manage a wide variety of tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills and the ability to respond to tasks in a timely manner
  • Thorough, accurate, and detail-oriented, particularly when handling documentation and data
  • Commitment to maintaining excellent Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Professional, reliable, and approachable with a strong team-oriented mindset
