SUMMARY
The EHS lead will provide support toRenal Private Fleet (RPF),Planning andFulfillment, Technical Services,Commercial, and officesin USA and Canada, ensuring EHS compliance and mitigate risks, drive continuous improvement and excellence in EHS performance, enhancing EHS knowledge and awareness among business managers and employees and providing insights and recommendations to inform EHS strategies and initiatives for the function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, manage, and hold accountablea teamofEHSprofessionals to meetdepartment andsupport globalgoals.
Serve as a coordinator, manager, planner and monitor of the EHS Management System.
Identify and ensure EHS compliance with applicable Company and regulatory requirementstomitigate risks developing action plans and tracking progress.
Report significant EHS issues, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Communicate the business impacts of EHS to leadership; uses influencetoadvance EHS compliance / programs.
Collaborate with business managers to enhance EHS knowledge and awareness.
Define KPI’s for the segment.
Provide regular updates on EHS performance, trend analysis, drive continuous improvement and implement targeted initiatives.
Lead incidents investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely reporting.
Develop and deliver EHS training and awareness programs for employees, contractors and visitors.
ConductsGemba walkthroughs, internal audits, and develop EHS campaigns and communications.
Coordinate and supportbusiness units incollecting and responding to EHScustomer/clientconcerns, andanalyzinghisEHS needs and monitoring performance.
Ensurerisk assessments are completed and updated for all jobs and tasks throughout the operations.
Support the business in due diligence processes includingbut not limiting to theEHS risk assessment and compliance reviews.
Identify and shareinternal and externalbest practices in EHS.
Develop, implement, monitor and report on EHS metrics and performance indicators.
Manage EHS budget ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
ImplementOperating Policies, Standards and Procedures.
Maintain, implement and follow up of the EHS documents including contracts, register ofhazardousproducts, waste management, safety data sheets, EHS permits and other relevant documentation.

Role requirements
Seven to ten years’ experience in EHS roles, preferably some of those years in warehouses and fleets.
Direct people management experience, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Proven track record of developingand implementing EHS program, managing compliance and driving continuous improvement.
Familiarity with EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
Demonstrateknowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, OSHA standards, and drug and alcohol testing programs.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations,US/Canadalaws and industry standards (e.g. OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT)
Proven track record of developing and implementing EHS program, managing compliance and driving continuous improvement at regional level.
Travel to sites under the responsibility of this role as well as other travel as needed.
Sustainability experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in environmentaland occupational health, industrial hygiene safety, sustainability or relatedfield.
Certifications in REHS/ISO/OSHA/ according to the state law and scope of the positionorsufficient training and experience.
Certified Safety Professional designation (CSP) orCertified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)highly desired.
Summary
The Field Service Specialist is a key customer-facing position that represents the Vantive brand in clinical and hospital settings. This position manages an assigned territory and travels to perform installation, repair, preventative maintenance, training, and other services on a variety of electro-mechanical medical devices. Field Specialists are hands-on and enjoy solving advanced technical problems, interacting with customers, applying attention to detail, working autonomously, variation in their work, and traveling. This position focuses on providing a positive customer experience, strong communication, and ensuring all services needs are met in a quality and timely manner.
The Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Performs repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance, installations on a variety of electro-mechanical medical equipment within established SLAs, quality, and procedural standards.
Analyzes both routine and advanced equipment failures to determine root cause and performs corrective action.
Responsible for effective territory management by scheduling service calls, PMs and other service needs within SLAs and plans travel accordingly.
Ensures test equipment is working properly and calibrated within established intervals.
Documents all performance and maintenance records on equipment.
Plans and orders parts necessary for service and PM and maintains proper system inventory records.
Provides guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
Maintains customer good-will through effective and timely communication of all services rendered, on-site arrival time, and reports any issues.
Demonstrates presentation of positive attitude for the company, products, employees, and customers; and maintains proper business appearance.
Participates in department meetings and training events.
Make recommendations to management regarding service strategies on process improvements; keeps supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems.
May participate in installation or field action planning and execution.
May travel to assist other Field Service Specialists outside of designated territory.
May lead or work on projects as assigned.
Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies, and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
Required Qualifications

Ability to exercise independent judgment to draw accurate conclusions to solve advanced equipment related problems based on available information.
Basic mathematical skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions are required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently to effectively manage assigned territory.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a high level professional and courteous conduct with peers, internal and external customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to work in healthcare settings such as hospitals and clinics and abide by customer personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements including, but not limited to gowning and facial masks.
Requires the ability to carry out the physical requirements of the job including kneeling and standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, lifting, pulling, twisting.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move in excess of 50 pounds using lifting aids, technologies, or appropriate assistance.
Must be able to sit and drive extended distances as per region requirements or fly for several hours.
Must be able to travel including overnight stays as required.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Experience and Education
Associate’s degree or higher in electrical/electronic engineering, biomedical equipment technology, or computer science with 3+ years of experience.
OR Associate’s degree or higher in non-related field with 5+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
OR Biomedical Engineering Technology (BMET) certification
OR completion of a U.S. military electrical or electrical biomedical equipment technology program with 5+ years of electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Previous field service experienced is strongly preferred.

The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 - $170,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
