Your Role at Vantive

At Vantive, we are seeking a highly experienced ERP Technical Lead with deep expertise in JD Edwards Order Management (OM) to lead the technical design, optimization, and ownership of critical ERP processes across Homecare, Order Management, Master Data Management (MDM), and Transportation modules.

This role is highly hands-on and technically driven, requiring strong JD Edwards knowledge, particularly in Order Management and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes. You will play a key role in bringing cloned applications in-house, improving system performance and scalability, and aligning the ERP technical roadmap with evolving business needs.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and global IT teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performing JD Edwards solutions that support our Homecare and Order Management operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the technical architecture, design, and development of JD Edwards Order Management, Homecare, MDM, and Transportation modules, ensuring high performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Take full technical ownership of JD Edwards Order Management processes, with a strong focus on Home Patient Order Management and Order-to-Cash workflows.
  • Oversee the cloning and internalization of existing JD Edwards applications, ensuring optimized performance and readiness for future business growth.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions, prioritizing Order Management efficiency and system reliability.
  • Configure and optimize JD Edwards Order Management and Invoicing, ensuring seamless integration with downstream systems.
  • Collaborate with third-party support and delivery teams to resolve complex JD Edwards OM, MDM, and Transportation issues and deliver system enhancements aligned with global IT standards.
  • Lead system integrations across the Order-to-Cash and Homecare landscape, including APIs, EDI, web services, third-party platforms, and legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and smooth end-to-end workflows.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning within JD Edwards, with a strong focus on Order Management and integrations.
  • Design and deliver technical process improvements across Order Management, Homecare, MDM, and Transportation using standard JD Edwards capabilities and custom developments when required.
  • Own and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, configurations, and integration specifications.
  • Manage JD Edwards upgrades, patches, and technical enhancements, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, and internal controls across all ERP processes.
  • Monitor system health and performance by developing technical dashboards, KPIs, and reports for Order Management and O2C processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with JD Edwards, with strong emphasis on Order Management (OM); experience with MDM and Transportation is highly valued.
  • Proven expertise in JD Edwards 9.2 or later, particularly in Order Management, Invoicing, and Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Strong technical skills in JD Edwards configuration, customization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, especially within OM workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and their technical integration with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Extensive experience in system integrations, including APIs, web services, EDI, and middleware connecting JD Edwards with external applications.
  • Strong SQL and database knowledge, including complex queries and data extraction for reporting and integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloned ERP applications, taking them in-house and optimizing them for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial and invoicing processes within JD Edwards is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience leading ERP technical initiatives, upgrades, or large-scale enhancements is highly preferred.
