Your role at Vantive

We are seeking a highly skilled JDE Batch Jobs/Integrations Consultant to oversee the batch jobs and integrations of our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system to our JDE Coex CNC team. This role is crucial for ensuring system stability, performance, and security while optimizing infrastructure and supporting business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JD Edwards batch jobs and integrations. 

What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and maintain job scheduling solutions for JDE systems. 

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. 

• Provide technical support for JDE integrations  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to align job execution with business requirements. 

• Using in-depth knowledge of ERP systems and Oracle JDE functionalities.   

• Identify improvement opportunities and direct teams for automation solutions to minimize manual tasks. 

• Maintain system security, data integrity, and compliance with best practices. 

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. 

• Optimize server configurations, database performance, and networking to enhance efficiency. 

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 10+ years of experience in JD Edwards batch jobs administration using Control-M (and JDE Orchestrator. 

• Strong understanding of batch processing and job automation in complex IT landscapes. 

• Proficiency in SQL, server management, and networking concepts. 

• Familiarity of JDE CNC

• Knowledge about Control-M platform 

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with cloud-hosted JD Edwards environments. 

• Knowledge of middleware integration and automation tools. 

• Understanding of disaster recovery and high-availability solutions. 

• AWS Cloud Certification
