Equipment Installation & Commissioning

  • Install, commission, and validate CRRT devices at customer sites (ICUs, hospitals, dialysis units).

  • Perform site readiness checks and ensure electrical, safety, and operational compliance before handover.

  • Conduct basic operator orientation during installation in coordination with Therapy / Clinical teams.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance as per service manuals and global service standards.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software issues on CRRT platforms.

  • Ensure first‑time‑fix wherever possible to minimize equipment downtime.

Breakdown & On‑Call Support

  • Respond to breakdown calls within defined TATs, including emergency ICU situations.

  • Provide on‑site and remote troubleshooting support.

  • Escalate unresolved issues through defined technical escalation pathways.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate service records, service reports, and work orders in service systems.

  • Ensure compliance with Quality, EHS, and regulatory requirements (complaint handling, part traceability, calibration records).

  • Support audits and field actions (FSNs, recalls, upgrades) as required.

Spare Parts & Tools Management

  • Manage assigned spares inventory, tools, and test equipment responsibly.

  • Ensure timely consumption reporting and replenishment of spares.

Customer Interaction & Experience

  • Act as the technical point of contact for hospital biomedical teams and ICU stakeholders.

  • Communicate clearly with customers on issue diagnosis, resolution, and device status.

  • Build trust through professional conduct, responsiveness, and technical expertise.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Therapy Specialists, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure seamless customer support.

  • Provide technical inputs during new product launches, upgrades, and service readiness activities.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Biomedical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering

  • 2–5 years of relevant field service experience in:

    • Medical devices, ICU equipment, dialysis / renal therapies, or critical care systems

  • Prior experience with life‑support or high‑acuity devices is strongly preferred

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

  • Good understanding of electro‑mechanical systems

  • Customer‑centric mindset with ability to work in critical care settings

  • Willingness to travel extensively and support on‑call requirements

  • Basic computer skills for service documentation and reporting

  • Knowledge of quality systems and complaint handling processes
