Job Summary

  • Lead market access activities working with key Government Stakeholders at Ministry of Health, Service of Health and Reimbursement levels

  • Initiate the most effective and timely strategy to develop pricing and reimbursement as well as broad market access for products in Vietnam in the context of optimizing local, regional and global strategies.

  • Establish and maintains excellent relationships with Vietnam key executive, administrative and public policy makers, influencers, funding and reimbursement authorities.

  • Work with the Country Head, Area Manager, and Product Manager to develop and execute GBU market Access programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Understand and communicate the Ministry of Health and Social Security policy, funding flows and market access landscape in our key areas, developing critical insights and positive relationships within and outside the company that will support the development of a differentiated value proposition and the achievement of broad market access.

  • Develop market access plan for Vantive portfolio to improve reimbursement at all levels, enlisting new product/therapy into MOH/DAV/VSS lists, treatment guideline… Closely follow up and manage products application to relevant reimbursement stakeholder.

  • Build good relationship with key stakeholders in MOH/DAV/VSS...to develop market access for Vantive portfolio & corporate reputation. Increase the company’s visibility and credibility with key government and policy audiences by educating opinion leaders on the company and its products, setting up facility tours, and arranging for Vantive senior executives to meet with government officials and participate in high-profile events

  • Effectively monitor and state policies, guidance, compliance, regulations and media coverage relating to health issues of interest to Vantive business and communicate internally

  • Cooperate with marketing and medical to develop annual brand plan, new launch product plan, channel expansion.

  • Manage portfolio pricing submission to MOH level

  • Seeking opportunity of purchase machine project from MOH/SOH levels.

  • Cooperate with sales, marketing, and other cross function teams to manage change management which might happen in future at MOH/DAV/SOH levels such as change company name, plant name, distributor, …

  • Develop risk management plan for distributor management, media crisis management relating to company, product, services, …

  • Prepare a comprehensive and clear market research brief.

  • Develop and align credible and sustainable key messages consistent with GBU global value dossier platforms to address business issues. Adapt to country specific needs when needed

  • Work closely with Medical Adviser to ensure alignment with key approved message

  • Ensure all business activities comply with Vantive business code of conduct, relevant Vietnam legal demands, and ethical standards.

  • Further relevant responsibilities/ tasks/ projects as assigned by Manager from time to time.

Requirements

  • Degree in Medical or Healthcare-related field

  • Preference for Medical Device Reimbursement Experience.

  • Background in Market Access or Government Affairs preferred

  • Minimum 5 years at managerial level in pharma/medical device industry

  • Strong leadership skills with a strategic mindset & proactive attitude

  • Established relationships with key MOH, VSS, & DAV stakeholders preferred

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Understanding of Health Economy Structures and decision processes

  • Project management and facilitation skills

  • Team-oriented

  • Willing to travel and flexible with work hours

  • Good English proficiency
