Warehouse Operator
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Rotational – 07:00–15:00 and 14:00–22:00
Department: Warehouse Operations
Reports to: Warehouse/Operations Management
Role Overview
The Warehouse Operator supports daily operational activities across the warehouse, including goods movement, stock control, GMP compliance, and safe operation of material-handling equipment. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within rotating shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate Reach, Flexi, and Powered Pedestrian Trucks safely and efficiently (RTITB accreditation desirable).
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling.
• Receive, inspect, and put away inbound deliveries.
• Conduct stock counts, cycle checks, and support resolution of stock variances.
• Raise purchase orders and receipt goods using relevant systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support routine reporting.
• Maintain warehouse GMP standards and ensure strong housekeeping practices.
• Comply with EHS, GMP, GDP, and internal corporate policies.
• Identify improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, or efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate Reach, Flexi, or Powered Pedestrian Trucks.
• Strong attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy skills.
• IT proficiency, including MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable:
• RTITB-accredited MHE licences.
• ERP or stock management system experience.
• Recognised safety qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
