Summary
PD (Peritoneal Dialysis) Clinical Specialist provides cross-country clinical support, structured training programs and standardized implementation practices to ensure successful therapy adoption, optimize patient outcomes and enable achievement of budget and long-term commercial plans.
PD Clinical Specialist acts as a clinical bridge between healthcare professionals, distributors and internal commercial teams, accelerating market development while safeguarding quality and compliance.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and training to dialysis centers (PD)
- Support product implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Educate nurses, physicians, and technicians on therapy, protocols, and best practices
- Act as a clinical reference for internal sales and marketing teams
- Support clinical evaluations and therapy adoption
Sales Responsibilities
- Support sales activities to grow and defend business in assigned accounts
- Participate in customer meetings, tenders, and negotiations together with sales
- Identify customer needs and translate them into product and therapy solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key dialysis stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities in dialysis
Required Skills
- Mandatory experience in dialysis (e.g. dialysis nurse, technician, clinical specialist, or similar)
- Understanding of hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis workflows
- Experience in a clinical-facing role within dialysis centers
- Previous exposure to sales or commercial activities is an advantage
Education
- Degree in nursing or related healthcare field
- Dialysis certification is an advantage

- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and practically
- Customer-oriented, proactive, and reliable
- Comfortable working in both clinical and commercial environments
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changes
- Willingness to travel 80 % of time
Language skills
- Slovenian - Excellent
- English - Good
