We are seeking an experienced and influential Compliance Counsel to lead Ethics and Compliance activities across our Northern Europe cluster (UK, France, Benelux, Nordics) as part of the EMEA region. This is a pivotal role for a strategic, agile, and business‑savvy compliance professional who wants to make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

What You’ll Do
Serve as a trusted advisor
- Provide expert guidance to business leaders and cross‑functional teams on anti‑corruption, regulatory, legal, and policy matters.
- Support smart, ethical decision‑making that enables business growth across the Northern cluster.
Strengthen Vantive’s E&C foundations
- Develop, update, and implement policies and procedures supporting a robust compliance program.
- Identify risks, propose practical solutions, and drive corrective action plans.
Promote a strong culture of integrity
- Design and deliver compelling E&C training across policies, legal requirements, and industry codes.
- Boost awareness of compliance expectations and inspire ethical behaviour at every level.
Collaborate across the region and beyond
- Partner closely with E&C colleagues in EMEA and other global regions on investigations, monitoring, data analytics, and program enhancements.
- Manage outside counsel when appropriate.
Lead strategic initiatives
- Support regional and global projects that contribute to a consistent, high‑performing E&C program.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Laws (minimum) with strong academic credentials.
- Significant experience in a law firm, consulting (Big Four), government role, or in‑house environment; multinational in‑house E&C experience strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of FCPA and comparable anti‑corruption regulations is essential.
- Healthcare sector experience and familiarity with the EMEA region highly desirable.
- Understanding of antitrust, clinical trials, product licensing/registration, and promotional compliance is a plus.
- Practical knowledge of industry codes (e.g., EFPIA, MedTech Europe, ABPI).

- Excellent communication skills; fluent English and Frenchis required.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on agility.
