Summary:

Responsible to conduct Acute clinical activities targeting at key healthcare providers, hospitals and dialysis centers within a specified geography to improve clinical outcomes

This position requires strong therapy understanding of Acute clinical knowledge, communication and coordination with stakeholders including patients, physicians, nurses, hospital’s renal/ICU unit personnel, external foundations and support partners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• 1. Clinical Therapy Leadership:
• Act as the clinical subject matter expert for Vantive’s acute therapy portfolio (e.g., CRRT, acute critical care product).
• Provide hands-on support in ICU settings during therapy initiation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure best practices in therapy application to support patient safety and outcomes.
• Guide clinicians on therapy protocols, prescription optimization, and workflow efficiency.
• 2. Education & Capability Building
• Deliver structured clinical training programs for ICU nurses, nephrologists, and intensivists.
• Support onboarding of new users and continuous education of existing customers.
• Organize and execute workshops, CMEs, and skill stations (e.g., CRRT simulation training).
• Partner with KOLs to strengthen clinical competency in acute renal care.
• Must be able to work on standby/on-call as schedule to handle the 24-hour clinical hotline for healthcare professionals
• 3. Therapy Adoption & Account Development
• Drive therapy uptake and utilization of Vantive solutions within key accounts.
• Identify gaps in clinical practice and position Vantive therapies as solutions.
• Support account penetration in ICU, nephrology, and critical care departments.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to support tenders, evaluations, and conversions.
• 4. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
• Build strong relationships with clinical stakeholders (nurses, physicians, ICU teams).
• Provide ongoing technical and clinical support to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for therapy-related queries and escalations.
• 5. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide clinical insights to support marketing strategies and product positioning.
• Support new product launches and therapy innovations within Vantive portfolio.
• 6. Market & Clinical Insights
• Monitor clinical trends, competitor activities, and therapy evolution in acute care.
• Collect and share feedback to enhance product usability and clinical outcomes.
• Represent Vantive in congresses, workshops, and scientific forums.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or RN equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience working as a Nurse preferably in a Nephrology or ICU unit
• Required to have a valid practicing Nursing certificate/license from the Malaysian nursing Board
• Possess own motor vehicle
