Key Responsibilities

1. Business & P&L Leadership

• Own full P&L accountability for Malaysia, ensuring delivery of revenue growth, profitability, and operating targets in a compliant manner.
• Drive country strategy aligned to APAC priorities, including therapy growth, market expansion, and portfolio optimization.
• Lead transformation initiatives to accelerate growth in kidney care therapies and expand patient access.

2. External Stakeholder & Policy Leadership

• Represent Vantive Malaysia with key stakeholders including MOH, regulatory authorities, policy makers, hospital groups, and any other industry associations.
• Engage in policy dialogue to support business strategy, reimbursement, and access expansion.
• Build strong partnerships to shape healthcare ecosystem development and position Vantive as a strategic partner.

3. Commercial Leadership (Sales & Marketing)

• Lead end-to-end commercial strategy, including demand generation, portfolio management, and market development.
• Ensure strong execution of product launches, lifecycle management, and therapy adoption across public and private sectors.
• Drive performance of the sales organization, aligning teams to clear growth targets and KPIs.

4. Operations & Cross-Functional Integration

• Ensure strong integration across functions (Medical, RA/QA, Supply Chain, Technical Services, etc.) to enable seamless execution.
• Optimize operating model and ways of working to improve efficiency, speed, and decision-making.
• Ensure all operations comply with local regulatory requirements and company ethical standards.

5. People & Organizational Leadership

• Lead and develop a high-performing country leadership team, building strong bench strength and future-ready capabilities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and agility, aligned to Vantive values.
• Drive employee engagement, talent development, and change management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field.
• Healthcare commercial & P&L management experience.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in healthcare / medical devices / pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience working in Malaysia market; regional exposure is an advantage.
• Related sales & marketing experience in pharma and medical devices
• Prior experience in Emerging markets
• Healthcare commercial & P&L management experience.

Key Skills and Knowledge

• Strong enterprise leadership with ability to operate across commercial and functional domains.
• Proven experience managing P&L and delivering business outcomes.
• Ability to engage and influence external stakeholders (government, payors, industry bodies).
• Strategic mindset with strong execution discipline.
• Deep understanding of healthcare ecosystem in Malaysia (public-private dynamics, reimbursement landscape).
• Strong financial acumen (pricing, contracts, ROI).
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
