Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of the company's products or services. 
  • Identify and call on existing and prospective customers to understand and meet customers' needs through targeted selling.
  • Conducts dialysis counseling and training of healthcare personnel, patients and their caregivers
  • to ensure good practice in Peritoneal Dialysis. Performing on-call machine troubleshooting for APD patients.
  • Track and maintain centers' database - drop out tracking, management and time on therapy. Actively involved in analyzing and conducting activities to improve time on therapy for key accounts. 
  • Conduct hospital-based CMEs as speakers and train HCPs on products and therapy.
  • Monitor and analyze key clinical parameters of identified PD centers and discuss the same with HCP's. Support HCPs to deliver/create programs to address the areas of improvement 
  • Apply therapy and/or product knowledge to differentiates Vantive products Vs competitors and address questions on products or therapies and/or provide technical and administrative product demonstrations. 
  • Monitor and deliver monthly sales against forecast/plan and participate in the determination of market potential for the territory.
  • Keep up-to-date and apply industry knowledge/trends, competitor activity to understand and meet maintain competitive positioning.
  • Ensure monthly reports are submitted on timely basis i.e. SFE.
  • Uncompromising commitment to adhering to Vantive's Code of Conduct and promotes the Vantive Culture through positive, ongoing relationships and activities.
  • Report Vantive drug adverse events (AEs) and any other relevant product safety related information to pharmacovigilance (PV) upon awareness, and support with the follow up activities with the reporter (HCP and/or patient), if needed, upon PV guidance and request.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in managing hospital accounts/managing clinical support preferably to a nephrology unit. 
  • Able to manage territory/region independently
  • Possess a valid driving license and own car.
  • Demonstrated a track record of consistent performance delivering high quality effort and achievement.
  • Ability to conduct CME and product training to HCPs.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Degree in science, pharmacy, nursing or equivalent preferably
  • Accepts personal responsibility; self-motivated, demonstrates ownership for achieving results; consistently meets or exceeds goals; operates in accordance with Vantive's global business practice standards; understands and promotes compliance with Vantive policy and legal obligations.
  • Willing to Travel: Travelling is required and may involve visits to remote urban areas either
  • individually or with other personnel to complete courses of work as well as to attend meetings, conferences, and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams and work with internal/external stakeholders from other functions like marketing, HR, finance etc.
