Your role at Vantive

As a member of the Supply Chain Solution and Strategy team, the data analyst will support senior leadership team, subject matter experts and managers from across the organization on strategic initiatives. 

The data analyst will work on high-priority strategic initiatives in alignment with the business strategy and long-term goals by providing data-based and innovative analytic solutions to support decision making, new initiatives, process improvement recommendations. This will include to work closely with global service providers and regional functional stakeholders to simplify Supply Chain processes, develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize SC efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall performance. Data collection, reporting, analysis, and project management are key to success in this role. 

What you'll be doing

  • Create and update ETL and visualization tools to support analysis of supply chain optimization outputs. 

  • Apply advance statistical analytics and predictive models to build and validate SC network models, optimize scenarios, and assist in analysis of output to answer complex supply chain questions. 

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address specific SC challenges. 

  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and improve SC performance. 

  • Develop. innovative analytic solutions to measure business performance; identify / quantify drivers, risks, and opportunities and define solutions to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, Finance, etc.) to align SC activities with organizational goals. 

  • Participate in and contribute to projects to develop tools and organization capabilities to support a data driven supply chain.  

  • Own assigned tasks and resolve general problems with minimal guidance. Act as subject matter expert and train others to use core data tools. 

  • Influence stakeholders to adopt new ideas, projects and / or approaches. 

  • Help core teams on the management of program/project requirements, scope, activities, and milestones related to supply chain. 

  • Assist on standard program/project management items, priorities, and capacity needs related to supply chain. 

  • Assist with the build-out of internal processes and procedures to support supply chain strategy. 

What you'll bring

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare sector.  

  • Expertise in data management, ETL, data manipulation and analysis and modeling using tools such as Python, R Or Alteryx or

  • Must have experience with SQL.  

  • Ability to apply statistical techniques to analyze and interpret complex datasets.  

  • Expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.   

  • Good understanding of database structure and ERP systems is required. 

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite   

  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills  

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.  English required. Other languages are a plus. 

  • Team player mentality with the capacity to lead and contribute to cross-function initiatives.  

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and can work with an appreciable amount of latitude.

  • Good planning and project management skills.  

  • Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and employees within the company.
