Main Responsibilities :

• Introduce and Lead the implementation of MRO sourcing strategy in APAC. Contribute to the development of the respective Sourcing strategies by input of the best practices and lesson & learn of sourcing activities with quality, cost, service and delivery objectives.

• Mutual understanding the MRO category – global & local markets, supplier base, contracting, budget development and providing input of Capital on demand side with Global Engineering.

• Support Category Manager in the development and execution of annual saving plans

• Drive the supplier management programs for continuous improvement in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), on time delivery, Quality improvement, Environment sustainability across the APAC supplier community.

• Develop strong, ethical relationships with World Class suppliers and ensure that activities surrounding dealing with suppliers are conducted under the auspices of good business practices and consistent with the Vantive Code of Ethics.

• Key measurements of success will be built around total spend management and value add concepts, which include but is not limited to savings, spend optimization, quality, service enhancement, lead time reduction and category compliance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders on strategies for well-defined pipeline on process improvement, spend analysis, RFP/bench marking, savings, and supplier consolidation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams - AP, Systems & Analytics, commodity leads, etc. And generate timely reports for Sr. Category Manager and Leadership for category related spend

• Lead negotiations using strong value-based techniques.

• Monitor, track and report on savings and incremental value of sourcing activities

• Stimulate and support innovation by using the supplier base, regularly reviewing market developments, and mobilizing the appropriate internal network.

MRO Category

• Support in the implementation of the defined sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers throughout the sites in APAC.

• Perform in depth spend analysis and market analysis on MRO area of spend to identify savings opportunities and build MIP pipeline

• Develop RFI/RFP and lead negotiations to achieve short term and long-term savings targets.

• Manage MRO activities in Capital projects or related to Capital suppliers following the MRO category strategy. Provide guidance to MRO and Utilities category from policy, process, supplier management, etc.

• Drive effective Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers and monitor performance and KPI, negotiate contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers
