Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated solutions that streamline operational processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance system reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in workflow automation, scripting, integration, and modern automation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automation workflows using tools such as Power Automate, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, or similar platforms.
Build, maintain, and enhance scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.) to support cloud and application operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Integrate automation solutions with APIs, cloud services, and enterprise applications.
Develop monitoring, alerting, and logging for automated workflows to ensure long-term reliability.
Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, scripts, and systems.
Troubleshoot workflow failures and optimize existing automation for performance and scalability.
Ensure automation solutions follow security and compliance standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to automation strategy.
Required Skills & Experience
3–7 years of experience in automation development or related engineering roles.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Python
Experience integrating with APIs (REST, Graph API, service connectors).
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS
Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and version control (Git).
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud formation)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
CISSP certification preferred
