Duties and Responsibilities
- Demand Planning:Develop and maintain accurate demand forecast based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
- Supply Planning:Translate demand forecast into actionable supply plans, balancing inventory, production, and distribution requirement.
- Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels and replenishmentrequirementto maintain service levels, minimise stockouts, and reduce excess stock.
- SIOP/IBP Participation:Actively support SIOP/IBP processes, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Exception Management:Identify and resolve supply-demand gaps, production delays, or logistics issues, escalating unresolved items to the Cluster Planning Lead.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, and Regulatory teams to incorporate market signals into planningdata base.
- Systems & Data Management:Ensure planning systems and ERP data are accurate, up-to-date, and reliable for decision-making.
- Performance Monitoring:Track key planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, backorders, and inventory turns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:Support initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy, supply efficiency, and overall planning process effectiveness.
EHS & GMP Responsibilities (Individual Contributor)
- Pro-actively contribute to zero harm workplace for all employees
- Comply with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures at all times
- Report all hazards, near misses and incidents as soon as practicable and participate in identifying actions to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
- Employees at every level are responsible for quality (GMP) and regulatory performance in the department to ensure quality program is met
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal documents and safety and ethical standards, obtaining legal compliance training.
EHS Responsibilities (People Leader)
- Drive culture of zero harm workplace for all employees
- Ensure compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures at all times
- Ensure all hazards, near misses and incidents are reported and investigated to identify rootcausesand ensure actions implemented to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
- Ensure all employees trained to perform their roles safely and any regulatory-based training is completed as required
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- APICS certification is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of 5-7+ years’ experience in supply chain planning.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in demandand supplyplanning processes, techniques and methodologies.
- Deepknowledge and well-established relationships across organisation: sales, marketing, product development, finance and manufacturing, related segments, e.g., product lines, business unit, region, etc.
- Hands-on experience with modelling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools.
- Worked in a team-based environment.
- Business domain experience in the supported process and technology (Rapid Response and Tableau) areas.
- Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office.
Skills/Technical
- Advanced mathematical and/or statistical abilities.
- Advanced analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Well-organised and high level of attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledgeable of import/export regulations.
- Proficient in Rapid Response or other relevant planning systems.
- Proven stakeholder management skills (including influencing, communication negotiating and conflict management).
- Collaborative but able to challenge and influence external insights/inputs and stakeholders.
- Well-organised, clear presenter
