Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.    Ensure that mold set-up, changeover, submission and housekeeping standards are met.
2.    Ensure molding machines and axuliary equipment (Dryer, Mixer, robot) are set to correct parameters in meeting the production goals
3.    Perform repairs and replace worn or broken parts on the injection molds.
4.    Opening and closing, cleaning and lubricating of molds.
5.    Changeover of molds for a new production cycle or a different mold. 
6.    Read and interpret blueprints.
7.    Inspection of incoming mold spares.
8.    Use a crane hoist to perform mold changes.
9.    Comprehensively understand injection molding process and provides necessary optimization and/or troubleshooting.
10.    Response to persistant process or quality related issues.
11.    Evaulate and optimise mold performance.
12.    Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedutes.
13.    Proactively practice and adhere to EHS and relevant safety protocols, cGMP and other essential compliance procedures.
14.    Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification / Education

•    NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering

Skill Set / Experience

•    At least one year of experience in mold maintenance / repairs.
•    Experience in handling of measuring equipment and machineries (lathe machine, grinding machine etc)
•    Some basic electrical knowledge and able to read blueprints.
•    Strong attention to details with excellent prioritization and follow up skills
•    Experience working in fast pace, high change environment
