Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Ownership: Own cluster/country inventory management, ensuring alignment with APAC policies, local operational priorities, and financial objectives to optimise service levels, working capital, and inventory efficiency.
Supply Exception Management: Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate supply chain risks and demand-supply imbalances, providing timely escalation of critical issues to APAC leadership while collaborating with Cluster Supply Chain head to resolve operational challenges.
Integrated Planning Leadership: Lead and govern SIOP/IBP processes, translating demand forecasts into executable supply and inventory strategies, ensuring alignment with both APAC directives and local cluster requirements.
KPI Performance & Continuous Improvement: Drive best practices and continuous improvement to achieve planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, OTIF, backorders, and inventory optimisation.
Team Leadership & Capability Development: Provide strategic direction, foster accountability, and cultivate a high-performance, collaborative planning team through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
Process, Data & Systems Governance: Oversee cluster planning processes, data integrity, and system utilisation, ensuring compliance with APAC standards, and consistent execution across the cluster.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Engage and influence stakeholders across Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Network Planning to resolve planning gaps, ensuring coordination between APAC guidance and local operational priorities.
Financial & Business Impact: Support working capital, cost, and profitability objectives through informed planning decisions and scenario analysis.
EHS & GMP Responsibilities (Individual Contributor)
Pro-actively contributes to zero harm workplace for all employees
Comply with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures
Report all hazards, near misses and incidents as soon as practicable and participate in identifying actions to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
Employees at every level are responsible for quality (GMP) and regulatory performance in the department to ensure quality program is met
Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal documents and safety and ethical standards, obtaining legal compliance training.
EHS Responsibilities (People Leader)
Drive culture of zero harm workplace for all employees
Ensure compliance with legal and corporate EHS requirements, safe work practices and EHS policies and procedures
Ensure all hazards, near misses and incidents are reported and investigated to identify root causes and ensure actions implemented to prevent harm from occurring to our people and/or our environment
Ensure all employees are trained to perform their roles safely and any regulatory-based training is completed as required
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred with a minimum of 5-7 years related experience in supply chain management – planning, logistics, transportation is required. APICS certification preferred. MBA preferred.
