Senior Manufacturing Manager

Your Role at Vantive

The Senior Manufacturing Manager is responsible for directing and optimizing manufacturing operations for new and existing medical device products. This role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while driving operational efficiency, cost control, and team development.

The position plays a key role in executing the site’s strategy, fostering a culture of ethics and compliance, and ensuring that all operations support business objectives and regulatory requirements.

What you´ll be doing

  • Ensure products are manufactured within specifications, following Good Manufacturing Practices and approved procedures.
  • Guarantee compliance with NOM‑241‑SSA1, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and regulatory requirements of destination countries.
  • Lead production, packaging, and process operations to achieve targets in quality, efficiency, cost, and scrap reduction.
  • Optimize plant investments, operating budgets, and inventory strategies.
  • Ensure accurate execution of the Quality Management System and applicable SOPs.
  • Serve as the company’s legal representative before governmental authorities
  • Identify and mitigate compliance and legal risks at the country/cluster level.
  • Ensure adherence to local and corporate regulatory requirements, including risk management processes.
  • Promote and model ethical business practices and a strong compliance culture.
  • Ensure strict adherence to EHS standards and procedures.
  • Verify that employees use required protective clothing and equipment according to relevant SOPs.
  • Lead and develop the Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance
  • Ensure proper onboarding, training, and competency development for employees.​

What you´ll bring

  • Engineering (physical-mathematical, biological), QFB (Pharmaceutical Biologist Chemist), Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
  • 5–10 years of experience in operations leadership, manufacturing management, or similar roles—preferably in medical devices or regulated industries
  • Strong understanding of NOM‑241‑SSA1, ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and trend analysis.
  • Financial and budget management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills
