Your role at Vantive

We are seeking a skilled IT Technical Lead – Planning with deep expertise in Kinaxis Rapid Response to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Supply Chain Planning solutions. This role combines strong technical leadership with architectural thinking and will partner closely with Business & Enterprise IT Architecture to drive solution decisions aligned with enterprise standards.

As a Technical Lead with strong architecture expertise, you will drive the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of Kinaxis solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with Business and Enterprise Architecture to define architectural strategy, lead solution design & execution, and oversee the successful implementation of complex Kinaxis programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

This role is responsible for architecting, designing, configuring, developing, testing, and deploying end-to-end Supply Chain Planning solutions using Kinaxis RapidResponse as the enterprise-standard planning platform. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in the Kinaxis ecosystem, understands its underlying architecture and capabilities, and serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. This individual will play a key leadership role in driving a large-scale supply chain transformation, ensuring the successful alignment of business objectives with technology solutions.

The position also requires deep technical expertise across Supply Chain Planning functions, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Inventory Optimization, along with strong integration experience with ERP platforms such as JD Edwards (JDE) and Oracle.

Lead the successful implementation of integrated supply chain planning processes and systems, encompassing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Available-to-Promise (ATP), Capacity Planning, Aggregate Planning, and Attribute-Based Planning.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Co driveSolution Design and Architecture:

- Act as a Technical Lead with strong architectural expertise, driving solutioning discussions and design decisions in close collaboration with the Enterprise IT Architecture team & Business.

-Design scalable and maintainable technical architectures and workflows that align with business objectives.

-Drive alignment between Kinaxis solutions, enterprise IT architecture, and business strategy.

-Configure and enhance Kinaxis Rapid Response functionality through the development of custom worksheets, alerts, dashboards, scorecards, metrics, control sets, and data models.

-Develop integration frameworks between Kinaxis and systems such as Oracle, CRM, SCM, WMS, EDH and Tableau.

2. Implementation and Configuration:

- Implementation of Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro solutions to support complex business processes, supply chain planning functions, and operational optimization initiatives.

-Manage the implementation and configuration of Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro modules, enabling seamless data integration, scenario modeling, and advanced analytics.

-Partner with cross-functional teams to configure and tailor Kinaxis solutions to meet business requirements.

-Drive testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities to ensure systems perform at their best.

3. Technical Leadership:

-Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro, providing guidance on best practices and emerging industry trends.

-Drive requirements definition and process improvement efforts, delivering architecture guidance for supply chain planning solutions built on Kinaxis Maestro, along with detailed technical specifications and system modeling.

-Take a proactive approach to identifying system improvement and optimization opportunities.

-Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams to establish technical user stories, prioritize enabler workstreams, and liaise with Kinaxis vendor consultants to support implementation efforts.

4. Documentation and Compliance:

-Ensure comprehensive documentation of solution designs, system configurations, and workflows is maintained.

-Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

-Manage and monitor security safeguards and data integrity in Kinaxis systems.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

• 8+ years of experience in Information Systems, experience in ERP supply chain planning systems and software development methodologies preferably with experience in Supply chain areas of IT

• 5+ years of experience as a Kinaxis Solution Architect or in a similar role, with deep expertise in Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro.

• 3+ years of technical configuration experience in project implementation related to Software as Service (SaaS) applications preferably KINAXIS Rapid Response

• Strong understanding of Supply chain planning operations and processes and how technology can be leveraged. Extensive hands-on experience in implementing solutions including Forecasting, Distribution requirement planning, MRP, Production and Inventory planning.

• Experience in designing and implementing Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro modules such as Integration, Analytics, Alerts, and Scenario Simulation. Proficiency in data integration technologies.

• Experience with ITSM process, experience with Service Now or Jira is preferred.

• Strong understanding of integrating supply chain applications with other systems

• Ability to work with cross-functional matrixed teams to deliver on a common goal.

• Ability to influence architecture decisions without formal authority

• Interpersonal skills and development of relationships with team members, peers, leaders, and customers.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of business, data science and technical stakeholders

• Strong working knowledge of lean product principles and software development lifecycle

• Foundational project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.

• Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside your comfort zone, with bias for action and completion.

• Effective communication skills – written and verbal

• Must be process oriented and able to define and implement new processes and standards.
