Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide functional leadership to the team, including hiring, competency development, training execution, SMART goal setting, ACE check‑ins, regular feedback, performance management, development planning, career coaching, and budget planning and tracking.

• Lead and manage teams working closely with PDO Organization, Project Management, Regulatory, Quality, and other cross‑functional stakeholders on Renal Care projects, including product design changes and new product registrations, design Transfer, site transfer ensuring compliance with applicable international, regional, and national regulations.

• Identify required capabilities and resources and build and scale appropriately skilled teams to support product development, product changes, and full lifecycle management.

• Develop, document, test, and manage product‑related changes in alignment with established Renal Care product processes, ensuring full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage outsourcing partners to support product development and lifecycle management activities as needed.

• Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging continuous improvement, creative problem‑solving, and proactive contribution to product advancement.

• Proactively identify opportunities for product enhancements and value‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive execution and measurable outcomes.

• Establish and sustain a strong documentation culture, ensuring creation, maintenance, and timely updates of technical and design documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate in Polymer Science and technology or Mechanical engineer domain with 15 years of experience in polymer material development and design, including technical leadership. Prior experience in the Renal container’s domain is a plus.

• Min 5+ years of relevant experience in medical device and/or drug R&D.

• Good knowledge of Renal PD therapies and products.

• Good knowledge of product development stages and life cycle management: development, stability, clinical, registration, process transfer, production, suppliers, customer service etc.

• Good knowledge of Design Control documentation and process.

• Working knowledge of international/regional/national regulations and standards.
