Sales Specialist - Renal Acute business​ Hungary

We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our Renal Acute business team in Budapest. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned hospital and distributor accounts, developing and implementing customer business plans, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the achievement of sales, revenue, and profit targets.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the business results of assigned accounts and sales areas. You will build and maintain productive relationships with key decision makers in hospitals, healthcare organizations, and distributor networks, while identifying and maximizing market opportunities for the Acute business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement hospital and customer business plans for assigned accounts, sales areas and distribution channels.
  • Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key decision makers at hospital, healthcare system and distributor level.
  • Take responsibility for the sales performance and business results of assigned accounts and sales areas.
  • Prepare demand forecasts, budgets and financial forecasts for the assigned area and relevant product portfolio.
  • Monitor local market developments, healthcare policies, customer needs and competitor activities, and share relevant market intelligence internally.
  • Analyse account attractiveness and prepare account plans, including sales potential, market share opportunities and required resources.
  • Deliver field visits, product presentations, seminars, customer trainings, workshops and conference activities using approved materials.
  • Document educational activities and customer follow-up actions in line with internal policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager, Marketing and other internal teams to implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Manage the assigned expense budget and support the development of new services for key customers.
  • Report adverse events, product complaints, safety information and medical enquiries in line with Vantive internal timelines and procedures.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in science, commercial, medical, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals, particularly in sales, national accounts, bids, and tender procedures.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and customer-management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in Hungarian and good English skills is a must.
