We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Technologist / Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Castlebar site. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and other support functions to ensure the reliability and performance of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support services, plant, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Assist with the introduction and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
- Manage inventory to ensure spare parts availability for critical equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines on time to uphold safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and technical input.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handovers and communication.
Education and experience required:
- Minimum Requirement: Trades certification (preferably electrical).
- Preferred: Accredited multi-skilled qualification or equivalent technical certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, robotics, PLC controls, low-voltage controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an advantage (but not essential).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage escalated technical issues.
- Commitment to continuous learning and upskilling.
