Your role at Vantive

This role sits within the ISC Finance organization and serves as a senior finance business partner to Supply Chain, Operations, and Strategy leadership. The position provides financial leadership across capital investment governance, strategic planning, and inventory performance management, with a focus on value creation, cash optimization, and operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading capital allocation strategy and investment governance across ISC

  • Driving inventory performance optimization and working capital improvement initiatives

  • Serving as a trusted finance partner to Strategy and Operations leadership

  • Providing data-driven insights to support long-term decision-making and transformation initiatives

Capital Management & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end capital planning and allocation processes, including AOP and LRP

  • Apply capital approval frameworks to ensure alignment with ROI, IRR, and strategic priorities

  • Monitor capital project execution, tracking spend against approved business cases and benefits realization

  • Partner with Operations and Engineering teams to:

  • Evaluate investment proposals

  • Validate business cases and financial assumptions

  • Prioritize capital deployment across regions and plants

  • Drive transparency through reporting on capital utilization, returns, and key risks

Inventory Management

  • Partner with Supply Chain and Plant leadership to:

  • Identify and execute inventory reduction opportunities

  • Strengthen demand and supply alignment and improve inventory planning discipline

  • Provide financial oversight across:

  • Actual monthly inventory performance

  • Inventory projections, including physical and financial views

  • Slow-moving and obsolete inventory actions

  • Deep-dive analyses to identify key drivers and performance trends

  • Support transformation initiatives to strengthen end-to-end inventory visibility and controls

Strategy Management

  • Act as the finance lead for strategic initiatives across ISC, including footprint optimization, sourcing shifts, and network redesign

  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support:

  • Long-term strategy development

  • Investment prioritization and resource allocation

  • Support executive-level reviews with clear insights on value creation, risk, and trade-offs

  • Ensure strong financial controls and compliance across capital and inventory management processes

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 12–15+ years of relevant experience, preferably in:

  • ISC and Supply Chain Finance

  • Capital investment analysis and governance

  • Inventory and working capital management

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Financial modeling and business case evaluation

  • Inventory accounting and supply chain financial drivers

  • ERP systems (e.g., JDE)

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional outcomes

  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical capability

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication

  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $160 to $200,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
