Your role at Vantive
The Manager, Executive & Change Communications serves as a communications business partner for the Information Technology organization and select global functions, leading the planning, development, and execution of executive, employee, and change communications that support business priorities, transformation initiatives, and employee engagement.
This role works closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business and technology topics into clear, compelling communications that drive awareness, understanding, and adoption.
Operating within established communications strategies and priorities, the manager leads communications planning and execution across multiple channels, advises stakeholders, develops high-quality content, supports leadership communications, and identifies storytelling opportunities that strengthen employee engagement.
What you'll be doing
Executive & Change Communications
Partner with select global function leaders to develop and execute communications that support strategic priorities, organizational change, and business transformation efforts.
Develop executive messaging, presentations, talking points, and leader communications for key business moments.
Support change communications planning and execution, helping employees understand, adopt, and engage with organizational changes.
Advise stakeholders on messaging approaches, communication timing, audience considerations, and channel strategies.
Prepare leaders for communication opportunities by developing clear, engaging, and audience-focused content.
IT Communications Business Partnership
Lead communications planning and delivery for IT initiatives, operational updates, and transformation efforts, managing content creation, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and distribution.
Coordinate with IT stakeholders, SMEs, and Comms Champions to gather inputs, align messaging, and ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate and support the IT Communications Champions Network, to facilitate effective message delivery and alignment across communications activities.
Content, Channels & Storytelling
Develop and deliver high-quality communications across internal channels, including InVantive, Viva Engage, newsletters, and communication campaigns.
Translate complex business and technical topics into clear, engaging, employee-focused communications.
Identify and develop stories that showcase progress, innovation, key initiatives, and the impact of IT and enterprise priorities.
Support the development and refinement of organizational narratives and messaging frameworks, ensuring content aligns with established communications strategies and priorities.
Communications Planning & Operations
Ensure consistent messaging, sequencing, and audience alignment across communication channels and touchpoints.
Develop and manage integrated communications plans, calendars, workflows, and deliverables to support strategic priorities across multiple stakeholder groups.
Coordinate content reviews, approvals, publishing, and distribution activities.
Monitor communication effectiveness, gather stakeholder feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Maintain alignment with communications standards, governance, and best practices.
Support measurement and reporting efforts to evaluate communication reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, Organizational Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, change communications, employee engagement, or related communications disciplines.
Experience supporting internal, executive, or change communications, ideally in a complex or matrixed organization
Experience developing and executing communications plans that support organizational change, transformation, or adoption initiatives.
Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and content development skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, compelling communications.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, timelines, and channels
Strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $108,000 to $148,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
